As the world
prepares to celebrate Mothers and Mother figures this year to
appreciate the efforts and the role of women especially mothers and to
encourage them to keep up the good works in transforming the lives of their
children and society at large,
Priests and men of the St. Dominic Catholic church in Taifa have hinted a show
off, of cooking
prowess once again
on Mothers’ Day.
Video from last year
It was such a memorable day for members of the St.
Dominic Catholic Church,
especially mothers last year as the Mass celebration which is usually dominated
by the youth was taken over by the lovely mothers as they beautifully served,
ushered, proclaimed, among others.
The ‘senior
chefs’, Frs. Emmanuel Obeng Codjoe and Courage Senam Dogbey who fed the mothers
with Waakye and Indomie respectively, demonstrated they were not just good at
feeding the church with the word of God but also had what it takes to feed the physical
body as well
Investigations
by NewsWatch has revealed the two are taking special culinary skills training
ahead of the big day in May. The question Newswatch is asking however is that,
between Frs. Courage Senam Dogbey and Emmanuel Obeng Codjoe, who will be
crowned as the "don" chef? Time certainly will tell.
