Hunger Noe Be Joke (HNBJ) Incorporated, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that supports the poor and needy persons has organised an intensive health screening exercise for about One Hundred and twenty (120) in Accra.
The organisation had taken the people from various groups through, drug ministration, eye screening, blood pressure checks and sugar level.
Most interesting, the 120 people were also refreshed by the organisation and gave them some food items as part of the gifts for this year's Christmas festivities.
Addressing ths gathering at the event in Accra recently, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HNBJ, Mr. Kwame Prepprah stated that the organisation which was established for the past three years was aimed at helping widows, orphanage, blind and the less privilege in the society.
He stated that the Foundation had so far impacted positively on the lives of more than three million Ghanaians through improving access to healthcare, education and economic empowerment.
“To us at the Hunger Noe Be Joke this is a demonstration of what corporate social interventions should be-identifying a need and helping to fill that need in a way that is meaningful, sustainable and to brighten the lives of poor and needy for many years,” he said.
For his part, the talented Ghanaians musician, Mr. Adams Aminu popularly known as Baron also gave some praise to the Hunger Noe Be Joke for its gesture.
Mr. David Asante popular known as Don One, from Skate Soccer Association thanked the Hunger Noe Be Joke for coming to their aid.
He urged other benevolent organizations to emulate the example of the foundation.
