Old boys of the Pope John SHS and Minor Seminary in Koforidua this morning joined current students of their alma mater to climax the 60th anniversary of the school.
The respected Catholic school and the 2001 winners of the “Brilliant Science and Maths Quiz Competition” is widely known for its academic and sports excellence not forgetting its high level of discipline.
The grand durbar, speech and prize ceremony which started in the early hours of Saturday was attended by the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo , Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra Most Rev. Charles Palmer Buckle, Old students and invited guests among others.
The durbar crowns a week long activities such as blood donation, clean-up exercises at the St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Regional Hospital-Koforidua, football gala competition, health screening in the Effiduase community amongst others are all CSR activities already underway.

An artist/entertainment night will take place later today with singing and rap performances between old boys and students as well as invited artists.
The 60th anniversary will be climaxed with a thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the schools ceremonial grounds.
