Accra Archdiocesan anniversary carnival goes live on radio tomorrow




Information reaching NewsWatch indicates that the biggest event schedulled to take place in the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra tommorow, 125th anniversary carnival,  will be given a live coverage on the Catholic online radio in Ghana.

The 125th Anniversary celebrations which is themed , “125 Years of Catholic Mission in Accra: Renewing our commitment to Evangelization,” kick started on Saturday, December 02, 2017, with advent vespers and will  close on Sunday, November 25, 2018, on the Solemnity of Christ the King with Holy Mass to climax it at the Black Star Square in Accra.



A post by the secretary to the Archbishop, Rev. Fr. Anthony Agnes Adu-Mensah on social media on Friday, December 29 reads,

"Goodnews for all who cannot be physically present at tomorrow's Archdiocesan Carnival. We are happy to inform all that the mega, long-awaited, all-important 125th Anniversary Carnival comes off tomorrow, Saturday, 30th December 2017 at the El-Wak Stadium, Accra.

For the first time, the Carnival would be streamed live on our online radio from the beginning to the end. Tune in tomorrow at 8:00am from wherever you are on the planet and join our live commentary as we bring sounds of the carnival right into your homes, right on your phones."

NewsWatch can also confirm that the coverage will be anchored by budding journalists Ernest Senanu Dovlo and Augustus Kwamina Aikins.
