How do you treat strangers you come accross in your daily activities? Some people tend to be rude. Others create lasting impressions on our minds.
But it is better to be nice to people because our world is a small place and you never know who you may be dealing with. It could be a relative of a friend or a colleague worker, or that one special person you may be spending the rest of your life with.
Why don't you safe yourself some embarrassment and be nice the next time a stranger says hi, Sister be a little nice wai. Thank me later lol.
This is the story of now Mr. and Mrs. Ayivor. They met as strangers only to find out later that they attend the same church. As if that was not enough, they belong to the same society at Church. Why they didn't know each other? I am still looking for them after their honey moon. lol.
Robert Fulghum is recorded to have said "we are all a little weird. And life is a little weird as well. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness and call it love."
The two, recently got married at the St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Church, Abeka-Lapaz. Newswatch has put together this piece to celebrate "AN EPITOME OF LOVE." Enjoy!!
Usually, 2 people meet their other selfs unconsciously and they yearn to reconnect. To reconnect is to join, link and unite again.
That is exactly how their love story began. When Sebastain met Francisca, he had an epiphany that he is fortunate because she captured him.
From the road side they met that fateful day, fast forward to across the Church room where they are finally CONNECTING, he looked at her and all stood still. She closed her eyes and reached out and in return, she got a soul. And that's when they knew they were soul mates.
Honestly, I dont know why it took so long for Sebastain s to claim his price. Not that Francisca told me anything but perhaps, he was looking so far into the future that time had no time to tap Francisca and tell her she and her destiny had intersected. So they journeyed as friends until that perfect day they reconnected.
Not only does this love goes back, it goes deep, deep, deep as conversations about craters around the earths equator. Deep as the story of creation and deep as the words Osiadi3yor Nyame spoke when he said let us create man in our image and likeness.
I asked Sebastain why he loves her ( that must be in my dreams lol) and he said oh mine! She is so fine, then he said seriously, its just about the way she loves me back.
It is great to find that one special person you will annoy for the rest of your life and for people to stay in marriage day after day is unquestionably one conspicuous miracle the Vatican has failed to make noise about.
I guess I am talking my big sister now. Mrs. Akakpo is how I call her. She will respond with "baby Akakpo." You see, one advantage of marriage is that, when you fall out of love with him, it keeps you together until you fall in again. Sisca, there is so little difference between husbands so you must just want to keep the first.
Before marriage, he will stay awake all night thinking about something you told him but after marriage, he probably will fall asleep even before you finish with what you want to say.
I pity you Mr. Ayivor because you now have a "nurse" and a wife to deal with. She will tell you what to eat and what not to eat and even how to breathe. As for the water, ask her colleagues at work. You will need a polytank at home. (friendly advise lol)
Sooner or later you will begin to understand that love is more than verses on valentines and more than walking to the store to pick a wedding ring. You will begin to know that love is here and now, real and true and the most important thing in your lives.
Be guests in one anothers house, with a deferential No and a courteous Yes. Take care to hide our foolish moods behind a certain show of cheerfulness.
In this covenant, let your golden rings be master keys unlocking intimate love notes your heart sings. And as off-key as they maybe, let your love note melodies be the brush that paints your memory lines because that was the reason you married anyway.
Sir, please walk the tune of her voice until you reach the perfume of her charisma. Honour her very hands this virtious woman gleaming without complain and not to love her the way you want to but in steadfast, spirit and truth as Christ loved the Church. She can be annoying, I know but let that show a virtue in you.
Mr. and Mrs Ayivor, I could not make it to your day and this is how I want to celeberate you. On behalf of the witnesses of this blessed union, we do solemnly pray that you two will connect again, and again, and again from this day into eternity. Amen
