Obrafour praises Shatta Wale for inspiring younger artistes

Ghana’s rap icon, Obrafour has applauded Shatta Wale for reminding the new generation of artistes the need to look at the story of some old musicians to take some lessons from their failures.

Shatta Wale has on several instances rained abusive words on some players in the music industry who to him, failed the industry in the past when they had the opportunity to create a path that will be followed by several others.

He labels them as the cause for the failure of the Ghana Music industry and also makes the world aware of the fact that they are broke and do not have what it takes to make ends meet.

Some old artistes have always taken offence for the words of the Dancehall King and have attacked him on several occasions.

But responding to the comment of Shatta Wale for the first time, Obrafour believes that he has a point although he believes Shatta Wale mode of communication has a problem.

He indicated that the fore bearers like himself made a lot of mistakes that they are suffering from currently and that Shatta Wale has a point if he is complaining about it.

“When people are talking about something, I take the positives. So what I take from what Shatta Wale is that he wanted to say we the pioneers were taken advantage of. People used us to play shows for free and that has affected us as human beings. Shatta Wale and the current generation will not sit and allow you take advantage of them.”
